When we did our 13 for 13 end of the year list on NahRight last December, I included Vince Staples as one of the 13 rappers to watch for in 2014. And so far, he’s making me look good for including him! Dude got a huge feature on Common’s single “Kingdom” (which just got remixed with an ill Jay Electronica verse tagged on at the end), and he’s quickly becoming one of the most buzzed about rappers in the game. Following his show in NYC earlier this week, Vince paid a visit to Sway in the Morning, and was asked to spit a freestyle. And whoa, did he kill it. Straight off the head shit, too. So dope.
