If Your Old Droog is the Rap Rookie of the Year for 2014, then Cozz is probably the runner-up. Straight out of L.A., Cozz is J. Cole’s label Dreamville’s newest artist, and you’ll understand why Cole wanted to sign him with one viewing of his “Dreams” video above. This is the hardest joint I’ve heard from a new West Coast artist in a long time. Dude is nice with the rhymes, too. Here’s hoping there’s more to come from Cozz. Good shit.
