Interviews, Music
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing Diamond D, Fat Joe, and Buckwild, and of course I’m a huuuge D.I.T.C. fan, so it was great to see how this piece brought the story of the whole crew together, album by album. Love the approach, props to the author Mike “DJ” Pizzo, and salute to all the legendary D.I.T.C. members.
Check out the oral history below, and grab their new album HERE.

Westside Parlé on Feed The Meter
Interviews, Music, PodcastsBX’s own Westside Parlé—who I’ve been saying is my favorite new rapper out of NYC—pays a visit to the Feed The Meter podcast, hosted by Hot 97/Juan Epstein affiliates DJ Juanyto, Hip Hop Mike, and Billy Jr. It’s a fun and interesting talk, plus we get some impromptu and impressive bars towards the end.
Keep your eyes open for Parlé, he’s a problem. Shouts to my dude Dro with the cameo, too. Stay up.

Nobody
MusicI’ll say with confidence that the one song I’ve listened to the most over the last six months is Leisure’s “All Over You.” It’s literally one of my favorite songs of all time. So naturally I’m checking for anything new these dudes drop. And their latest, a collabo with GoldLink titled “Nobody,” is pretty damn fresh. Who knew New Zealanders had so much soul?
Here’s hoping someone out there gets laid to this.
