Poison Ivy
Movies, The Good Old Days, VideosSummer camp throwback alert! My boy at work just asked me if I remember this movie, and I was like, “Hell yeah!” Let’s take it back to ’85 with the TV movie classic Poison Ivy, starring Michael J. Fox. This is serious nostalgia right here.

MoviesThis new Richard Linklater movie looks fun. Basically an ’80s version of Dazed and Confused, which is one of my all-time favorite films. Check the trailer.
Hate It Here
Late Pass, Movies, MusicGonna need a late pass for this one, pardon me. I’ve obviously known about Wilco forever and have friends that worship them, but I’ve honestly never given their music a shot. But the other night, I was watching Boyhood on cable for the 50th time (it’s always on!) and for some reason this song finally struck me. It’s playing in the car during great father/son scene where Ethan Hawke’s character is talking about how dope it is, comparing its production to The Beatles’ Abbey Road. Listen to Wilco “Hate it Here” above—great song.
