Too Many Tears & See Gets Hotter

A couple choice cuts off the new Durand Jones & The Indications album American Love Call. Sounds so soulful, don’t you agree?

Action Bronson on Pardon My Take

Art, Comedy, Interviews, Music, Podcasts, Sports

Listen to a very fun Action Bronson interview on the Barstool Sports podcast Pardon My Take HERE. Clip above, and peep the baseball cards and artwork that was inspired by the interview, including the top one which was actually made by Topps.

Tana Talk 3 – Live at SOB’s

Events, Music, Videos

Here’s some crispy footage of Benny The Butcher’s full Tana Talk 3 show at SOB’s from a few weeks back, featuring fellow Griselda MCs Westside Gunn and Conway. Beats are bangin’ in there, right?!

*BONUS*

This Griselda show at Webster Hall from 2017 was so legendary and historic for New York hip-hop, with special guests Prodigy, Jadakiss and Styles, Raekwon, Roc Marciano and more all saluting the hardest new rap crew in the game. Watch the full show all the way through below when you have time it’s incredible.

*UPDATE*

Gunn let a few loosies loose this week, my favorite of the lot is below. Check out the rest HERE.

10 Piece

Music

Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa’s collaborative album 2009 is out now, and “10 Piece” is the early Westcheddar favorite.

Whatever It Takes

Music, The Good Old Days

Chris Crack flipped an ill sample on his Just Gimme a Minute album cut “Don’t Subtweet Your Friends”—so ill that it made me go back and dig for the original, which turned out to be by R&B legend Anita Baker. Enjoy the fly shit.

You Don’t Know Me

Music

This is the first song of 2019 that I’m completely obsessed with. Read more about breakthrough artist Peter Manos, who apparently has a bit of a hit with his first song “In My Head,” in this Rolling Stone profile piece.

We’ll have to see if his new one “You Don’t Know Me” catches on, too—though it’s a bit more laid-back and chill than “In My Head.” Regardless, this is my kinda fire, so flame on folks.

Bet I Live

Music

One of my favorite rap trios out—Willie The Kid, Eto and producer V Don—just dropped a new EP titled Heather Grey. “Bet I Live” is an early favorite, but I advise you rap fans out there to check the project out in its entirety HERE.
