Chris Crack flipped an ill sample on his Just Gimme a Minute album cut “Don’t Subtweet Your Friends”—so ill that it made me go back and dig for the original, which turned out to be by R&B legend Anita Baker. Enjoy the fly shit.

You Don’t Know Me

This is the first song of 2019 that I’m completely obsessed with. Read more about breakthrough artist Peter Manos, who apparently has a bit of a hit with his first song “In My Head,” in this Rolling Stone profile piece.

We’ll have to see if his new one “You Don’t Know Me” catches on, too—though it’s a bit more laid-back and chill than “In My Head.” Regardless, this is my kinda fire, so flame on folks.
