Check out this 20-minute documentary on my friend Cipha Sounds—an incredible DJ, comedian, podcast host, and just all-around great guy. I’m forever thankful to him for being the first DJ to play my music on Hot 97!
My Dudes
Mischief Makers
Music, My DudesMy guy Step One linked up with his guy Jimmy Green to create a thematic remix of Souls of Mischief’s classic single “93 ‘Til Infinity,” featuring a slew of banging 1993 rap beats that change up with each verse. Great concept, solid execution. Click the link below to listen/download:

AlWasta
Music, My DudesThe homie Oddisee dropped a new EP this week, which as usual is self-produced and dense with dopeness. If you fuck with pure, high quality hip-hop music, this is for you.

Put It On
Music, My DudesMy man The Vinylcologist chopped up a James Brown classic and remixed Big L’s “Put It On.” And yes, he killed it.
Cap Club
Events, Music, My Dudes, Stan Ipcus, VideosWhat a fucking night. I mean damn, we’ve done a lot of shows in our day, but this past Friday at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester was something particularly special. Not only did I get to share the stage with my oldest and best friends in the world—Matisyahu, Max Bent, Matty B, K Wet, Lord Judah, DJ Destro, and Creature in the Woods, plus a special guest appearance by a new friend and one of my favorite rappers out right now Your Old Droog—but it seemed like everyone we knew was in the crowd partying with us. It was a White Plains reunion to say the least, but bigger than that too, with family, friends, co-workers and music lovers everywhere. Definitely a historic night. Here are some incredible pics from the show taken by Scott Harris…

And here’s a bonus gem taken by Tiffany Chacon!
And finally, here’s a live video of our set-closing “Hammer” performance featuring the whole pound on stage together…
Thanks so much to all the performers (including middle act Bill Laswell’s Method of Defiance with DJ Logic) and everyone who came out to rock with us! And special thanks to Scott and Tiffany for the sick pics, my boy Cam for the awesome “Hammer” footage, and my boy Marc Borelli for designing a dope ass poster for the show. And a huge shout out to my brother Matisyahu and everyone at The Capitol Theatre for making this event a reality!!! Stay tuned for more live performances coming soon, and catch Matisyahu on tour this summer with 311…peace and love.
