V Don grabs frequent collaborators Eto and Willie The Kid for a remix of Avenue’s “All Business.” Tough.

Tough.
Here’s a new one by Rochester MC Eto, one of my favorite MCs. If you dig this, peep his verse on the Ransom collabo below, too.
I unfortunately couldn’t make it out to see Roc Marciano’s show at the Highline Ballroom on Thursday night (Rap Dad duty called), but I had a feeling it was gonna be one of those nights you don’t want to miss. Turns out I was right. See footage above of Busta Rhymes’ guest appearance on stage, where he gave one of the biggest public displays of respect I’ve ever seen in hip-hop—calling Roc one of his Top 5 MCs and explaining for close to four minutes why he’s truly a Rap God. Shouts to my boy Eric Diep for the footage.
And below, see flicks from the show courtesy of Photo Rob, featuring Meyhem Lauren, DJ Muggs, Dallas Penn, Premium Pete, Westside Gunn, Action Bronson, Big Body Bes, Knowledge The Pirate, V Don, Lil Eto, Smoke DZA and Jazz.
Yo Jazz, what is that sweatshirt you’re wearing?!? Salute to Roc Marciano and everyone who was involved in this historic night—this crop of talent represents hip-hop’s finest.
Yup, Lil Eto got beats too. Peep the joint he produced for Benny and 38 Spesh above. Salute.
Underground up-and-comer CRIMEAPPLE grabs three of my favorite MCs—Benny The Butcher, Milano Constantine and Eto—for a posse cut titled “Gorillas,” off his new Big Ghost Ltd-produced project Aguardiente. Tough track.
New Willie The Kid featuring Manic and Eto. Off the new WTK EP Gold Rush produced by Klever Skemes. Love this.
“Take pride in my friendships.” New Eto, produced by V Don.
New Willie The Kid ft. Eto, produced by V Don. Strong trio right here, they always come correct.
Super late pass because this clip is from this past spring, but I’m just now seeing it so fuck it I’m posting. Lil Eto, a Rochester rapper I’ve been checking for since I heard him on this Lattisaw Tapes mix earlier this summer, goes in over an Alchemist beat I’ve never heard on Showoff Radio with Statik Selektah. This an ill session, I’m officially a Lil Eto fan now.
*Update*
This is crazy, too…
