Thank you Combat Jack for everything you did for the culture, and for me personally. We’re all going to miss you. RIP.

Jorja Smith killed it on Drake’s More Life album, but it took me a while to dig into her other stuff. Then this morning, I was listening to the new Spotify Singles versions of her song “Teenage Fantasy” and Frank Ocean’s “Lost,” and off the strength of those, I think I’m now a full-blown Jorja Smith fan.
Maybe it’s because she’s from the UK, but the way she effortlessly slays it kind of reminds me of Amy Winehouse. Am I far off? Check out the video for her latest single “On My Mind” above (which I’m currently obsessed with), then peep the acoustic version below as well as a live rendition “Teenage Fantasy.”
“This that Tom Hanks Big shit…”

Thoroughly enjoyed this interview with hip-hop mogul Steve Stoute. Lots of great stories about working with Nas and Jay-Z, and overall, I just really like his perspective on music and business and life in general. Check out Part 1 above, and Part 2 below. Shouts to Tidal!
Tha God Fahim connects with Camoflauge Monk. This is my kinda shit.

Here’s another new video from Fahim, produced by Nicholas Craven…
Fab and Jada do the in-and-out thing over a soulful Marvin Gaye sample courtesy of Swizz Beatz. Off their new album Friday On Elm Street. Uncle L is feeling it too!
