My boy Step One just uploaded one of my favorite mixtapes of all-time, Bad Boy Mixtape Vol. 3 with Stretch Armstrong. Let it ride…
Posting this on sight because I already know it’s amazing. DJ Kay Slay sits down with the ItsTheReal boys for their latest episode of A Waste of Time. Can’t wait to listen—Drama King!!
Damn, son. Twenty years since Biggie was murdered. Fucking sucks.
But today is a day to celebrate his life, so I pulled out this unreleased reference verse Biggie laid down for Junior M.A.F.I.A.’s song “White Chalk Part II” for you all to enjoy. Not sure many rap fans have heard this one—I just discovered it for the first time a few months ago. Shout to DJ Capone with the exclusive. Listen/download below.

Here’s a #ThrowbackThursday gem for ya, courtesy of RANDOMRAPRADIO. It’s a cassette compilation of freestyles from both Sway & Tech and Stretch & Bobbito’s radio shows, circa London 1994. Listen HERE.
Long Island Rap Blog, the same folks responsible for this sick Roc Marciano radio freestyle I posted a few days ago, just threw up this rare studio session version of one of my favorite rap songs ever, “Rampage” by EPMD and LL Cool J. On this version—which comes from a hard-to-find DJ Scratch EPMD mixtape—we get two LL verses and an alternate beat. Shit’s dope.
Listen above, and download the whole tape HERE.
Here’s a #ThrowbackThursday tape for your listening pleasure, courtesy of the one and only DJ Clue. It’s jam-packed with classics circa ’96 by Jay Z, Nas, Biggie, Wu-Tang Clan and more that many hip-hop heads still have in rotation today. Thanks to the homie DJ E-Feezy for the upload. Listen above and peep the original mixtape artwork with tracklist below.
